Since
its founding 150 years ago, Spring Grove Cemetery & Arboretum
has been an important part of Cincinnati's heritage. It serves
as a guardian of much of Cincinnati's past. In 1995, the Board
of Trustees established the Spring Grove Heritage Foundation
to conserve the natural beauty and preserve the historic integrity
of Spring Grove Cemetery & Arboretum not covered by other
funds. Through the sponsorship of events, tours, workshops
and seminars, the Foundation serves to promote the appreciation
and preservation of Spring Grove's cultural, historic and
natural resources. A "museum without walls," it
possesses fine art and architecture of eclectic styles as
diverse as any collection. Its horticultural mission - to
cultivate, display, and preserve the best of nature in a finely
designed and maintained landscape - continues to attract visitors
to our world-class arboretum and nature sanctuary.
You, too, can be a part this preservation effort. We welcome
your interest and invite you to learn more about the Spring
Grove Heritage Foundation. Your support will guarantee that
the Foundation can ensure that the pastoral landscapes, natural
beauty and historical significance of Spring Grove Cemetery
& Arboretum will be preserved for future generations to
enjoy.
