Take a meandering stroll through Spring Grove in the spring! Enjoy the natural beauty of spring's rejuvenation as you learn about some of the many residents of the cemetery along the way. Adolph Strauch, the original landscape architect of Spring Grove in the 1850's and 1860's, designed it for contemplative walks. He envisioned city-weary Cincinnatians renewing their spirits as they strolled through the beauty, both natural and manmade, of the cemetery. Let's take one of those walks and tap into the spirit of Spring Grove Cemetery.

Since its founding 150 years ago, Spring Grove Cemetery & Arboretum has been an important part of Cincinnati's heritage. It serves as a guardian of much of Cincinnati's past. In 1995, the Board of Trustees established the Spring Grove Heritage Foundation to educate the public about and promote the natural beauty and historic integrity of Spring Grove in ways not normally covered by the cemetery's operations. Through the sponsorship of events, tours, workshops and seminars, the Foundation serves to promote Spring Grove's cultural, historic, and natural resources. Often referred to as a "museum without walls," Spring Grove possesses fine art and architecture of eclectic styles as diverse as any collection. Your $4 or $5 donation goes to the Spring Grove Heritage Foundation.
