Did You Know?

Spring Grove's website receives over 42,000 genealogical inquiries every month - Respecting our heritage and helping thousands of families every year is a special privilege to all of us at Spring Grove.

Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum is ONE of the five oldest businesses in Cincinnati.

Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum has over 250 acres of undeveloped property available for future cemetery lot owners. It will take over 350 years for Spring Grove to be 'filled to capacity'. It's nice to know that we have hundreds of acres of property still undeveloped for future Family Heritage.

Spring Grove has over 229,000 family burials dating back to 1845. The first burial was Martha Louisa Ernst 9/18/1845.

Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum is one of TWO cemeteries nationally to receive Level THREE status from ArbNet (The Morton Register of Arboreta). The Morton Register of Arboreta is a comprehensive list and database of arboreta and other public gardens that have a substantial focus on woody plants. The highest rating available is four and to date there are no organizations to receive that distinction.

Oak Hill Cemetery, Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum, Spring Grove Funeral Homes and Crematory are proud to offer custom pre-arranged plans for families wishing to start or continue their heritage at Spring Grove. For a confidential consultation please fill out the form below.
