Memorial Tree Program |

The
Memorial Tree Program offers families an opportunity to
remember their loved ones while enhancing the natural beauty
and tradition of Spring Grove and Oak Hill Cemeteries.
New
Plantings
Plant-A-Tree A - For a donation of $500
a new tree will be planted in memory of your
loved one. Staff Horticulturists will assist you
with site selection. A memorial plaque will be
displayed on the tree for a period of ten
years.
In addition, your loved one's name will be
engraved on the Horticultural Remembrance
Plaque on display in the lobby of the
Customer Service Center at Spring Grove
indefinitely.
Plant-A-Tree
B - For a donation of $300 a
new tree will be planted in memory of your
loved one. Staff Horticulturists will assist you
with site selection. A memorial plaque will be
displayed on the tree for a period of five years.

Planting
Adopt-A-Tree - For a donation of $150
an established tree already planted within the grounds may
be selected in memory of your loved one. A memorial plaque
will be displayed on the tree for a period of three years.

| Sponsor
a Champion Tree
Spring
Grove Cemetery currently has 17 State Champion Trees on
the grounds, one of which will be selected for sponsorship
each year. Our state champion trees have been recognized
as the tallest, largest, strongest and oldest representative
of the species in Ohio.
Sponsor-A-Champion - For a donation of $50, your
sponsorship of an Ohio State Champion tree helps provide:

of educational tours and programs
- Community
outreach

You
can sponsor a Champion tree for yourself, your family, your
company, class or club. You can even “send” a
sponsored tree as a gift!
Your sponsorship benefits - As a Champion Tree Sponsor you

8x19 color photograph of the tree

fact sheet on the tree

How
the Money is Used
Your contribution will be ear-marked for conservation
and enhancement of Spring Grove's Arboretum and horticultural
endeavors. Not only will your donation offset the cost of
purchasing new trees and plants for the grounds, your contribution
helps maintain the beautiful, natural environment of Spring
Grove.
Your
Donation is Tax-Deductible
Your
contribution is tax deductible. You will receive a written
acknowledgement of your donation from the Spring Grove Heritage
Foundation. For further details, you may wish to contact
your tax preparer.
