Philosophy
The Gwen
Mooney Funeral Home is committed to a philosophy of participative
management. We are very interested in, and desirous of input
from all of the Funeral Home's employees. Whether the contribution
from the employee is in the form of a suggestion to improve
productivity, or to save money, or to assist in the resolution
of a conflict, it is valued.

role shared by Gwen Mooney Funeral Home employees is active

Input
and participation should not be confused with a consensus
(group decision making) style of management. While there are
certain benefits to consensus, we want it understood that
final decision making responsibility does lie within the realm
of management.

of the desire for cross training and participation, it is
not unusual for employees to rotate among several positions,
share job responsibilities or assist other departments. This
also helps us to recognize the contribution of other employees
and departments and provide flexibility in serving our customers,
as the Funeral Home continues to grow and improve.
